A time of renewal and growth
This is a time of renewal and growth. The trees are releasing a clever hormone named ADXIN that encourages the tree to grow new wood, thus controlling the shape of the tree. As the sap rises in the trees our Qi also rises and therefore we are in sync with nature.
Human hormones, likewise, are affected by the milder weather and the light that surrounds us at this time of year. Endorphins are released showing that the effects of aroma can suppress the stress hormone, CORTISOL.
